Session 6 – The Challenge of Addressing Climate Change
Can the United States’ withdrawal from Paris Agreement be compensated by the leadership of other States (China, Europe, etc.)? Will non-state players (NGOs, cities and regions, companies…), highly prominent since COP 21, including North American players during COP 23, play a decisive role in implementing effective action against climate change? Are we able to address climate change sufficiently vigorously with our current arrangements and tools ?
