Session 3 – Is Regional Integration Utopian?
Recent examples of Brexit and ALENA re-negotiation have illustrated the difficulties to bring together national aspirations, even among neighbouring countries. Does integration mostly benefit corporations and small portions of populations? In a context of strong international competition, are cooperative relationships desirable and credible over the long term ?
